Meet Our Doctors

The staff at DaVinci Eye Care is dedicated to making your experience a memorable one, from your initial phone call to the office to the time you leave, you will feel that all of your eye care needs have been met.  The staff is trained to answer all of your eye care questions, help pick out your frames, help you with contact lenses, and assist the doctor during your examination.  They also pride themselves on being friendly, approachable and knowledgeable regarding all of your eye care needs.

Stephen Hess, OD

Dr. Stephen Hess received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 2000 from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA.  He then went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2004 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, located in Elkins Park, PA.  Dr. Hess has done externships throughout the country and has been thoroughly trained in all areas of eye care, including primary eye care, contact lenses, pediatric eye care, ocular pathology, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and low vision.  He also offers pre and post-operative care to cataract and refractive surgery patients.

 

Dr. Hess is a member of the American Optometric AssociationPennsylvania Optometric Association, and American Academy of Home Care Physicians.  He is the past president of the Bucks-Montgomery Optometric Society.  In 2003, Dr. Hess was part of a group of optometrists that visited remote areas in Mexico to provide eye care to those who had otherwise been unable to receive it.  Since early 2005, he has had over twenty medical abstracts published in peer-reviewed journals.  He frequently lectures senior citizens on various topics and assists local school nurses and daycare centers with vision screenings.  Dr. Hess has been named Young Optometrist of the Year in 2006, 2009, and 2011.  He was recently recognized as Bucks Montgomery Optometrist of the year in 2013.
 

Dr. Hess has been a member of numerous community service organizations.  He currently resides in Bucks County with his wife, Lisa, and children, Sophia, Jolene, and Cael.

Aaron Presutto, OD

Dr. Aaron Presutto earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University in 2010. At Rutgers University, his study was focused on prosthetics and biomechanics. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, located in Elkins Park, PA. There, Dr. Presutto completed rotations in primary care, low vision, and advanced ocular disease. Through study at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, he has extensive experience with ocular disease management, including: glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. His rotation through the Feinbloom Low Vision Center has expanded his knowledge in the subject of fitting low vision devices and rehabilitation.

He spent three years as an active duty optometrist in the United States Air Force with the 87 Medical Group at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. There, he helped enable our Airmen to fulfill the mobility and refueling task assigned to JB-MDL’s mission partners. At the 87 MDG, he had extensive training in refractive surgery evaluation and co-management. He currently provides eyecare services to our aircrew in the Air Force Reserves.

Dr. Presutto is licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey to practice Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and Bucks-Montgomery Optometric Society. Dr. Presutto enjoys giving his time to Opening Eyes vision screenings at the New Jersey Special Olympics.  He is certified in myopia control through the Brilliant Futures Program and Paragon Vision Sciences.  He currently resides in Bucks County with his wife, Jessica, and two sons, Owen and Gavin.

Kevin McClure, OD

Dr. Kevin McClure grew up in Montgomery County attended Penn State and then, following in his mother, Dr. Kimberly McClure's footsteps, attended and graduated in 2019 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. During his optometric training, Dr. McClure focused on low Vision and Advanced Contact lens fittings with rotations throughout the east coast including the Johnson City VA and the Feinbloom Low Vision Center. Professionally, Dr. McClure has patients ranging from infants to seniors, with experience managing diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataract, and refractive surgery co-management. Dr. McClure most enjoys the "eureka moment" when patients first see with their best vision for the first time. Dr. McClure is certified for Myopia Control with Paragon and MiSight lenses to slow the progression of nearsightedness.

In his downtime, Dr. McClure loves spending time with his pets, hiking and sailing at LakeNockamixon, as well as at his family's cabin on Lake Champlain in the Adirondacks. In addition, he enjoys learning about and seeing live music at venues such as The Mann Center and New TownWinery.
